First quarter of 2019 has been quite intense for Budapest based Gnork.
Already been touring Australia, Switzerland and Italy with his Dj and live sets, made an EP, and arriving home he’s just about to release 2 remixes, a V/A on his new label Earth Plates, and another EP or two. In the meantime he’s getting ready for his next live acts in Budapest’s Larm, Berlin’s ://About Blank and a warehouse party in London.
Gnork is known for his unique blend of dancefloor oriented breaks/beats and spacey moods. Releasing his debut 12” in 2013, with standout track “Blorp 93” – a mixture of tripped out deep house, early uk breakbeat and piano rave – gained attention among some amazing djs, like HNNY, Gerd, Jimpster, FCL’s Red D or Bradley Zero. The yellow record got repressed several times due to crazy discogs prices.
Ever since, he continues to produce his Detroit techno and UK rave infused dreamy house tunes, releasing records on Crow Castle Cuts, Unknown to the Unknown or Lone’s Magicwire.
In 2017 his tune ‘U’ was featured on Lone’s dj Kicks album.
